Mission Statement:
At Kingdom Country Academy, our mission is to glorify God and edify families with a collaborative Christian school that provides a biblically-based, academically rigorous and developmentally appropriate education for Pre K - 12th grade students.
Core Values:
1. KCA provides an affordable, biblically-integrated education across all subjects, taught from a Christian worldview.
2. KCA tailors a challenging, individualized education that prepares students for the future.
3. KCA provides a communal learning environment that stresses collaboration across age groups.
4. KCA provides opportunities for stakeholder (co-teacher/parent) participation in each individual child's education.
Purpose:
Our goal is to draw all into a relationship with Jesus Christ through love; encouraging Christian growth. KCA trains students for life, whether it be college, vocational, or other callings. KCA also strives to build friendships and a spirit of friendly competition through classroom and extracurricular activities. KCA is an evangelical ministry where we are able to use our God-given gifts and talents in a cooperative setting.
Christian School Philosophy:
God’s model for teaching and learning is found in Deuteronomy 6:6-7, “And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise” (ESV). At the foundation of the Kingdom Country Academy (KCA) educational philosophy is the desire to offer our God-given gifts to serve the community to ensure a biblically based education. KCA will adhere to God’s inerrant word while daily interacting with all individuals involved in the school. As God’s plan clearly indicates that family is at the core of education, KCA exists to assist families in diligently teaching their children. Though not a replacement for the learning that occurs in families, KCA will come alongside parents and children to instruct, mentor, and encourage them in their individual educational progress beginning in preschool and traveling all the way through to the 12th grade.
KCA Vision Statement:
Ephesians 3:14-19 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Christian families are swimming upstream in the cultural relativity of the 21st century and are in desperate need of institutions who are willing to come alongside them and help them to raise children who love God and serve Him wholeheartedly. Kingdom Country Academy will partner with families to instruct, inspire, and encourage their children to grow spiritually and academically. When KCA students in turn choose to invest in their community by raising godly families who authentically love and minister to those around them, God will be pleased and KCA’s vision will be fulfilled. In five to ten years from the opening of the school in August, 2015, KCA will be a thriving Pre-K-12th grade university model school that is known for its love for God and its servant’s heart that reaches out globally from the small communities of Elmont and Anna, Texas to international schools in such places as India, Africa, and Central America.
Ephesians 3:20-21 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
