We are excited to share about Hope Christian Academy and the opportunity in front of us. This school stands to build a lasting legacy through Christian Education. Investing in our children and their education is essential for our society’s future success. Hope Christian Academy is honored to educate our youth from pre-school through twelfth grade. The need has never been clearer; our region needs a private Christian school with a university model. Hope fills that need.
Hope Christian Academy mascot is the lion.
Hope Christian Academy, in partnership with families, seeks to be an anchor for the spiritual, emotional, and academic growth of students and staff.
At Hope Christian Academy, our mission is to glorify God and edify families with a collaborative Christian school that provides a biblically based, academically rigorous, and developmentally appropriate education for our students.
Our crest is designed with intentionality. The cross is central and positioned at the top of the crest. This is significant, as it speaks to the supreme role of Jesus and Christianity in all we do. We are unashamedly Christ centered.
The anchor represents the belief that a student who is grounded in spiritual, emotional, and academic truth will be more successful.
The book with flame symbolizes our commitment to academic excellence and student success.
A mascot is important to the culture of any school. We selected a lion because it invokes feelings of strength, pride, conviction, character, and a determination it takes to succeed. The lion will become the symbol used around our school to remind us of these, and many more, key characteristics for success and school culture. Hope is committed to raising up students with “the heart of a lion.”
Hope Christian uses a university model in our partnership with parents for the sake of their children’s education. While there are many distinctive values to a university model the most compelling is the ability to maximize the time a parent has with their child. The school assists by providing structure and lessons that the family can use on at-home days to help the student grow in all phases of their education. We partner and collaborate together to educate the children of tomorrow.
Hope will also be using a universal curriculum that begins with our kindergarten classes. This curriculum allows Hope to uphold its mission and vision while also helping students build an expanding knowledge base year after year. This is a scalable and dynamic approach that allows the school and the family to focus on building skills that will promote future academic success.
